Lisk(LSK) is a competing Ethereum blockchain created by former Ethereum members Max Kordek and Olivier Beddows. This blockchain offers many applications such as the creation of dApps (decentralized applications).
Lisk uses a specific Proof-of-Stake (PoS) consensus called Delayed PoS. On the contrary, Ethereum is currently using a Proof-of-Work (PoW) consensus. The Lisk blockchain has 101 nodes and these nodes are elected exclusively by the owners of Lisk. These nodes are responsible for securing the main List network. The transfer of Lisks, which is supposed to take only a few seconds, will be subject to a transaction fee. This tax will be donated to the various delegates who work to secure the blockchain and process transactions.
